What is Latisse®?
Latisse is the gold standard in lash care and enhancement for lashes. It is a prescription based lash growth serum approved by the FDA and backed by thousands of testimonials. It helps lashes grow longer, thicker and darker.
How does Latisse® work?
Latisse is approved for the use on the upper eyelids. One drop is applied on the top of each lash line with an applicator at night. Results visible as soon as 4-8 weeks with full results in 12-16 weeks.
Latisse is available in both 3 ml and 5 ml bottles. 3 ml bottles have an indicated duration of 4-6 weeks while 5 ml bottles have indicated duration of 10-12 weeks.
Are there any side effects?
The most common side effects were mild itching or redness, reported by about 4% of patients. These effects were usually mild and did not require stopping treatment. Less common side effects included temporary darkening of the eyelid skin, eye redness, or dry eyes, which often improved after discontinuation.
